Read the text.

When my grandfather was a child, he couldn’t go to school regularly because he had to help his family on the farm. However, he was very curious. He could read before he was six because his older sister taught him. He wasn’t able to buy books, so he borrowed them from the village teacher. At the age of 15, he managed to win a scholarship and went to a boarding school in the city. Later, he succeeded in becoming a doctor.
