A school club is looking for new members. You must send a paragraph about yourself to apply. Write about your interests and your abilities, both now and in the past.
Write a paragraph (80-100 words). Include at least two interests, one present ability (“I can”, “I’m good at”), one past ability (“I could”, “I was able to”, “I managed to”) and why you want to join the club.

Example: I am interested in photography and nature. I’m good at taking pictures with my phone, and I can edit photos using simple apps. When I was twelve, I couldn’t use a real camera, but I practised a lot. Last year I managed to win second prize in a school photography competition. I also enjoy hiking at weekends, so I often take photos of birds and trees. I want to join the photography club because I would like to learn new techniques and share my work with others.
