Last year my family moved from a big detached house in a village to a small flat in the city. In the village, we used to have dinner together every evening in the garden. In the city, things changed. My father was working late, my brother was always playing online games, and I was studying in my room. We didn’t talk much, and we argued about small things.
One evening, while we were having dinner in silence, my mother had an idea: a “family meeting” every Sunday. Now we sit in the living room, we share our problems and we plan the week together. Our flat is still small, but our home feels bigger.
